Please be aware I don't home out single rats, it's pairs/trios/quads only, as rats cannot be kept alone. Slightly fed up of repeating myself and I probably sound horrible, but if you want a single pet, rats are not the animal for you and I won't budge on my stance anytime soon.
Oh, and whilst we are at it, I don't hard cull for being the wrong colour, size, having minor physical impairments, not liking being scruffed, wrong ear type, wrong markings, not tucking, wrong gender, chewing stuff, nibbling fingernails, destroying hammocks, enjoying terrible music, liking garlic bread etc etc.
The only time I will ever cull is if the rat is in pain and can't be fixed, is incompatible with life, or just needs to be euthanized for a valid medical reason. That's it.
Doesn't mean my rats go for your jugular just because I don't temperament test like people in the USA. Temperament testing isn't the be-all-and-end-all of rat breeding....there's far, FAR much more to it than that and I'm always happy to discuss my selection criteria and methods. If this stance gets me blacklisted by anybody.....I'm quite okay with that too :)
